Meta’s First Ray-Ban Glasses with HUD Leaked!
Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with HUD and sEMG wristband leaked!
Meta has accidentally revealed its first smart glasses with a built-in HUD through a YouTube video (later removed). In the video, the device was paired with an sEMG wristband for interface control.
The new Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses feature a fixed HUD visible only to the right eye. They are not AR glasses, but instead provide constant access to Meta AI, messaging, navigation, and more.
Compared to the previous models, these glasses have thicker frames and weigh 70g (versus 50g without display). Pricing will also be higher — $800, according to Mark Gurman.
Meta will market them as Ray-Ban Display to distinguish from other Ray-Ban smart glasses. Other devices include Oakley Meta HSTN and the still-unofficial Oakley Meta Sphaera.
The sEMG wristband is an evolution of the Neural band. It detects muscle signals in the forearm to track finger movements, allowing users to control the glasses seamlessly.
An official unveiling is highly likely at Meta Connect 2025, which kicks off today. The timing of the leak seems intentional.
